Employers must pay for all time their employees work, period.  Further, employers often times are required to pay employees for their time waiting for security, waiting in line to punch in or punch out, putting on safety gear or other clothing or personal protective equipment.  If your employer has failed to pay you for such time you should contact me so I can properly advise on and assess your case.
